MOSCOW KENTUCKY - SHIRT
from $33.00
Moscow was once a thriving trade center in western Kentucky.

Around Christmas 1862, Nathan Bedford Forrest’s cavalry raided north through Tennessee to Moscow, tearing up railroad track and destroying bridges along the way. Less than a decade later, armed men robbed an express train there and escaped into the river country. The robbery set off a Pinkerton pursuit that eventually ended with one suspect going overboard during a gunfight with detective William Pinkerton.

Today, Moscow has nearly disappeared, little more than a name among the fields of western Kentucky.
